This is Working Group to provide outreach to churches in Dunbar, and to involve them in the effort to build resilience in Dunbar .
At the October 2nd Zoom meeting, Holley Rauen (UUCFM) and Shirley Burns (PHC/FMBC) agreed to begin working on outreach to churches, Lee Interfaith for Empowerment Network (LIFE), and other potential partners in Dunbar.
Shirley Burns (PHC/FMBC) indicated that here are at least 6-8 churches within a 3-4 block area in the heart of Dunbar. Of those, there are 5 that have come together and are collaborating. A presentation to that group is one of this Working Group's goals.
You can invite clergy and lay leaders to join this group. All they have to do is register in the system and email me their user name.
