PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - On Tuesday, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said a third case of measles was confirmed in Colorado.
Officials said an adult in Archuleta County tested positive for measles. They could not confirm if the person was vaccinated.
Some of the highest levels of influenza are now in Western states, several of which have already topped the peaks recorded during the worst of last winter's flu season.
Though US flu activity is still low, markers such as test positivity and emergency department (ED) visits show more rises, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said (Friday) in its latest weekly update.
